Fuck. How the hell did I end up here?
I don’t mean ‘here’, now, sprawled on lousy floorboards in a lousy joint, being slowly choked by my lousy fake pearls. No, I mean what - Blood for Blood, Chapter One at storywrite
Sunrise.
The dead tell me this is supposed to signify hope… that there should be a sense of optimism about the new day. The blind must see things differently, I suppose. - "Why Should I Win?" at storywrite

on Life Terrifies Me by Endre Ady, on April 5, 2004This is so true... profound. Often (for me at least) true happiness is far more scary than the darkness I've come, if not to accept, than atleast to know. The bird imagery is inspired in it's simplicity and amplitude (which I don't think sit together this comfortably very often).. will have to check out more of Ady's work as it's new on me, but seems very promising!

on The Good-Morrow by John Donne, on April 5, 2004Shivers running down my spine! This is quite possibly my favourite love poem, it's simply timeless in expressing how love works and few poems can rival it as a study of devotion. Yes, the imagery requires some background knowledge, but overall I think most people could relate. I just love it.... it's superb

on The Kind Ghosts by Wilfred Owen, on April 5, 2004Perhaps a little coloured by my love of all Wilfred Owen poems, but this is superb. One of my favourites, this little gem; the imagery is lush and the flow great. I love it!
