Just when I think I start to get an idea on who Kyle Ryders is, something always happens to completely mess it up. I was sure I had him pegged this time…And once again, I was wrong.

on Husbands Overseas by Lloyd Roberts, on January 15, 2006This has an interesting sort of twist to it...it gave me a little chill as I got to the last stanza. There were most likely many a woman who lived this exact life through the years.

on Canada by Charles G. D. Roberts, on January 15, 2006Whooooo Canada! A country rich with interesting history, intriguing persons, and the victors of the War of 1812.
This was like a wonderful trip through high school history class.
There is an intriguing feeling to this poem....sort of like it is meant more as a song. -
on The Slumber Angel by Virna Sheard, on January 15, 2006Although the ABAAB was a little hard to get at first, it actually makes the poem better than would a ABAB or ABBA ryhiming scheme. The images woven throughout this are wonderful, and the use of language is great.

on The Old Home Calls by Lucy Maud Montgomery, on January 15, 2006Not only was she a wonderful storyteller, but she was also a wonderful poet. This reads like a story, yet glides so easily from line to line.
