on To Elizabeth Barrett Browning by Anne C Lynch, on July 13Lovely, though not my favorite. Its tone lends itself chiefly to a political agenda. Had she been running for the '08 ballet, she would have pushed Hillary off the charts.

And I see that she was a God-fearing person who believed the roots came from the beautiful Word of God.

on “Hope” is the thing with feathers— by Emily Dickinson, on July 13As a fan of Emily, I see that this was from the collection whereby assistant producers gave them titles. In all truth, she hardly EVER titled a poem. No one knows why. Some guess she was just one of those writers who thought in sequels that were hand-in-hand with the seasons, their time slot and their reflections.
Impressive, this one was written earlier in her writing timeline before she..*ahem* either sniffed monkshood sprouts from her backyard kingdom..lol or found the key to her dominant father's liquour cabinet.
I just love, love, love it! -
on Two Roses by Hattie Howard, on July 13Beautiful and alive. It shows us why this poet was selected.
Mood and method model what iambic poetry is about! Thank you for posting this!~

My brother-in-law (by the same surname) would find this complimentary since, though he doesn't claim to be a poet, broadens his capability by generation, maybe?
Very nice. And a credit to Keats, a mentor no doubt.
