    Sweet

    Animals have long inspired such feelings of loyalty and valor. When all have left you, you still can look back on your old best friend.

    Was this a song at some point? It would certainly seem so. Famous poets clung to strict end rhyme just as some do today. How can I complain about others end rhyme with poems like this floating around?

    I've been a cat person all my life, but poems like this make me wish I still had my dog.
