on My Cracked Wooden Bowl by Taigu Ryokan, on September 10, 2008I have found many treasures hidden away in resale shops. It is too bad we do not place more value on things rather then discard them for what ever reason. This is very lovely poem that give us all pause to re think about what we throw away. . Thank you..

on Do Not Go Gentle Into That Good Night by Dylan Thomas, on July 30, 2008I think this poem is telling us to live our lives to the fullest...don't let old age stop us..it is never too late...Love the poem..it is one of my favorites since first I read it long ago...back in the dinasaur age... L)

on Leisure by William H Davies, on July 30, 2008This certainly is a clear depiction of what we have created for our lives...no time to 'stop and smell the roses' It is a wonderful rhyme...easy to read and flows so smoothly

on Residue by Carlos Drummond de Andrade, on July 12, 2008This is one of the best pieces I have read on this site...it certainly does make us aware of what we want to remain of our presence here on this planet...let's hope what remains will be good remains...
