on Canção do exílio by Antonio Goncalves Dias, on September 20, 2008Funny thing my brother told me recently: that he should have used sparrows since he lived in an urban area. The sparrows were bring here because the Portuguese are wanting to hear the sounds like the sounds in Portugal.... so Sparrow is indeed a bird of Saudade

on Stopping By Woods On A Snowy Evening by Robert Frost, on January 17, 2007I know, Jorge Luís Borges, analyse the poem as a reference to death as well, in fact he points out the necesssity of the last repetition, as a daring thing as well, is the reference to death. Since, just sleeping is not death. Sleeping twice, adds the athemporal statis and thus death.
