on The Trysting Place by William Soutar, on February 14, 2008Waukrife, or waukrif is one of my favourite Scots words. In fact, I have a poem with that very title on here. This is a very sensuous poem, by the way.

on Bed Time by William Soutar, on February 14, 2008This is one of my personal Soutar favourites. Real tenderness from a man who never married or had children of his own. All the vocabulary should be easily accessible with a bit of work. I had a friend called Webster who was known as Spiderman. And sternie should be familiar to any German speakers.
