  • He may be crying for Africa to awaken but it's a cry that can be applied to many things...to America, the world, and to so many different problems. And many of us stare, wondering what we'll awaken us from this soporific spell.

  • Is this a poem? It's epistolary style reads like fiction, but either way, I'm not sure whether to laugh or feel heart warmed. One thing was simple though, after about the third "paragraph" the reader didn't need to go any further, the outcome was obvious, and frankly, trite.

Still, it does show the power of having a meaning in life, even if it is no more than as a spectator.

The opening section is humorous, probably unintentionally so, but maybe that's just my skeptical view of things (but I doubt it.)

But it does at least tell a tale moral, even if it does use a heavy stroke in writing it.
