on Chansons Innocentes: I by e e cummings, on August 25, 2005This was the first poem of yours that I ever read. I still remember my 8th grade class and how much this piece affected me with its inner beauty. You are the main reason I have chosen the form of writing style I did. This piece held so much observations on life as a reality and how society views us as to make one stand back and admire uniqueness in an individual. Bravo!

This holds great memories from childhood.
This was once of the first poems introduced to me by a teacher in grade school. When I read it aloud to the class, I tried to invoke in my speech what it must have been like to write something about a president that he admired so much. I still think this is his most memorable masterpiece. It was very effective in the entire piece of how Mr. Whitman and others viewed Mr. Lincoln.
