WOW!! Amazing! What drew me in to reading this haiku was the title. It gave me a feeling of immense peace like from a land far far away. I felt awesome on seeing the title. Wonderful juxtaposition and excellent break. Wonderful sense of zen here. Beautiful use of the sense of touch and sound. Perhaps "coolness" refers to how relaxing this felt to listen to in peak summer heat? Perhaps this haiku refers to a season change of some sort?

WOW! What a lovely set of images we have here. This is like a painting come to life! So fitting of this poet. L1 traps the reader's attention instantly. L2 alongwith L1 reminds me of a painting I did in school...a very beautiful moment brought back to life in my mind's eye An excellent juxtaposition in L3 and a clean break in L2. Very commendable! I felt that he compared the handwriting of us humans on the paper to the geese in the sky. A not so perfect picture...yet there is something that just makes me not want to turn the page just yet..how intrigued I am with these 3 lines...ahhhhhhh! "The moon seals it" makes me think of a mother hiding her child's flaws. I wonder how others would interpret this haiku.

  • Ahhhhhh...I see it! A clear image of the life just about to be taken away. A very spiritual haiku this is because it speaks deeply on life and death in three simple lines. There is depth here, a deep resonance...who are we to take life of another? Life is a gift of God, the AllFather. The word 'white' makes me think that life is pure, divine...and death indicated by the scissors is cruel, evil and black.

    A powerful haiku, I'd say .

  • So sad I haven't read any poem more 'feeling' than this. It seems to me that the poet is grieving the passing of his precious soulmate. Nothing could possibly pain more. My heart goes out to the poet. May the hearts in love continue to beat for each other together. Amen.
