    His style is so clean and simple, yet there's so much to the poem itself. I think it's very true, and hasn't aged like other poems from that era.

    Short, sweet.

    This is a beautiful short piece! The serenity felt from the two stanzas is delightful.

  • I feel very connected with this piece. We studied Whitman's work in 11th Grade English, but we didn't really delve into the deep end. I love the flow of words, and bitter love throughout.
