This is a beautiful short piece! The serenity felt from the two stanzas is delightful. -
on As I Lay With My Head in Your Lap, Camerado by Walt Whitman, on February 7, 2006I feel very connected with this piece. We studied Whitman's work in 11th Grade English, but we didn't really delve into the deep end. I love the flow of words, and bitter love throughout.
