on Sonnet XVII: I do not love you as if you were brine-rose, topaz by Pablo Neruda, on June 13This was the first poem by Pablo Neruda that I've read - the one poem that will always stay with me. Perhaps my favourite poem by this amazing poet. He is simply the best poet and love poet this world has ever seen! Beautiful, original poetry - nobody can write love like Neruda did.

on If You Forget Me by Pablo Neruda, on June 11Beautiful poetry, one of my personal favourites. There is but one Pablo Neruda. Isn't it wonderful that a Nobel prizewinner for Literature wasn't afraid to show vulnerability? He's actually showing us that love can't survive without vulnerability, the art of letting it all out...!

on For You, With Love by Vinicius de Moraes, on May 22, 2008This is beautiful...deep, rich, elegant poetry from soneone who obviously knew how to write love. Wonderful translation done by Marigoes (well done, Mari)! This poem has a delightful singing quality about it..lyrical, like love.
