on The Wait by Richard Brautigan, on November 5, 2004I think that this poem means to the author that if you love someone so much in the end it’s worth waiting for. What it means to me is that love takes time and that you should never give up, because in the end it is rewarding. It made me feel happy, because hopefully one day I can experience that feeling that is so rewarding in the end. Overall the author did a good job although it was short and simple.

on Shall I Love Again ? by William Browne of Tavistock, on November 5, 2004What I think this means to the author is that at one point you come to the decision to love again or to just let go and give up. What it means to me is that you should always make the right decision and make sure that you are happy with it. It made me feel happy because I have never had to face a decision like that. I think the author did a pretty good job at expressing their feelings.

on A Departed Friend by Julia A Moore, on November 5, 2004I think that this poem means to the author that people who die will always be remembered for their actions. What it means to me is that people who have died have served God and did their duty should get respect.
It made me feel sad, because I don’t have a lot of respect for people although I should. The author did a nice job at writing this piece. -
It seems like the meaning of the poem is that everyone doesn't have a lot of friends, but when they lose their last friend it seems as if it all goes down hill. One friend may not seem like a lot, but that one friend could mean a lot to one person.
This poem made me feel very sad and it made me feel like making friends with this person. Emotionally it just made me feel bad for this person not having any other friends then his own shadow. Anyways good write.
