How utterly tragic - a life spent in vain. I can see how one would feel that way when trying to make a difference, when trying to execute change - when trying.

    I am here too. ~Pamela

  • How can I live like this and still LIVE like this?

I loved the parade of stuffed shirts and pin striped suits that never understood what it meant to kick off your shoes and let the ocean seep through your panti-hose to your toes ...

Refreshing. More of this is needed today.

  • on Naked by Manuel Bandeira, on March 3
I find this a most exquisite and genuine love poem that knows the very nature of love when we are able to show, in a physical sense, the bonding of two who understand each other at their core. Who know no matter what the outward shape reflects, it is the inner spirit that recognizes the true nature of their partner and loves in a most selfless manner.

I am inspired to emulate this style and thought process.

A pleasure to read and enjoy.

  • One of my favorite pieces by Yeats. The Isle of Innisfree is a real island in Ireland near Sligo if memory serves me. From studies, Yeats spent many summers there with family members in his youth.
