    wonderful poem....my fav verse-
    "Sleep on, sleep on, some fairy dream
    Perchance is woven in thy sleep —
    But, O, thy spirit, calm, serene,
    Must wake to weep."

    its like he's sad that the person has to wake up and cant sleep forever....

  • on The Road Not Taken by Robert Frost, on August 8, 2005
    definitely about lifes choices...as for the roads both being equally tread....i can see sidewalksolipsis point....im not sure if i agree though...

    wonderful poem, another of my favorites...

  • this is one of my all time favorite poems and my favorite by Frost. I love all his poems though... the rhyme schemes are simply amazing and how he can put so much thought into so few lines....

  • on The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe, on May 11, 2005
    not only is this my favorite poem by Poe, its my absolute favorite poem ever. I love the rhyme scheme and the descriptions...I dont think anyone but Poe could write something this...

    "And the Raven, never flitting, still is sitting, still is sitting
    On the pallid bust of Pallas just above my chamber door;
    And his eyes have all the seeming of a demon's that is dreaming,
    And the lamplight o'er him streaming throws his shadow on the
    floor;
    And my soul from out that shadow that lies floating on the floor
    Shall be lifted- nevermore!"

    my favorite phrase...it perfectly sums up the poem and all that poe was trying to get across...
