I love old poetry, and long more for understanding its aspects, for it's my utmost deriving and inspiring factor, I read a poem from an old author, and I am overwhelmed by muse...

Hopefuly my stay in here, will make me more comprehensive, and will get me more feedbacks on my poetry as well as knowing more...

My favourite poets so far (Which are also mentioned on my Allpoetry site):

1.Edgar Allan Poe. (My idol, in muse and style).
2.Robert Frost. ( A powerful poet, genuis in his art).
3.Sir Philip Sidney.
4.Ben Jonson.
5.Tupac Shakur.
6.Sir Thomas Wyatt.
7.William Blake.
8.Emily Dickinson. (A morbid yet interesting character).
And many others of whom I am still exploring.

I think I will be having much time in here, to keep myself in track, and keep an eye on what I've missed.

Thanks for letting me share..
Raven Dark.

  • They

Will look at the roots someday, and wonder why they haven't got none of them, their un-caring and self-abased gardens have showered them with everything except the most important..

    Strength
    wisdom,
    and independence..

So I guess it seems fair to look at all those who wouldn't stop to even think about you or what you've been through, and then think to yourself "I'll be stronger, to force them all to see me, and force their seeing where I shall stand -- someday"..

Long lives the rose without garden feet,
long lives the rose that grew from concrete..

    Thank you 2pac.

    As a human

A typical human being, rough on the exterior, and contemplating on his own from the inside.
It takes a strong man and a tough nut to defy emotions and keep on living amid all the scars.

But it takes even a stronger man to understand his weakness, and try to let it all out, in the form of a poem.

This makes me feel the same, thank you Tupac.

  • Yeah hilarious

Some parts were altered in the lyrics of the Johnny cash song, but it still is elegant as ever.

    I just love it.

  • In my book of short-poems by P.J.KAVANAGH and JAMES MICHIE

It is "they'd advertise - you know"

Such a mood-relating piece, and a wonder of thought.
Makes you easily peak into the character of the poetess who despised fabrications and overrated superstar propaganda.
