    What is "a banned song"? People still sing this song at Dartmouth, and even if the Glee Club were to stop doing so, it would not be "banned." Perhaps the local conservative paper wishes to attribute more power to the administration than it possesses.

    Incidentally, the confusing phrase "put her on the [C]ampus" refers to the Green, not the campus as a whole.

    Georgia Tech has a similar song that may predate this one.
