    Shelly I totally agree, Sylvia was a wonderful writer.
    I love some of the images she uses, especially that last trophe.

    "She is used to this sort of thing.

    Well this is delightfully abstract. I love the succinct form. I believe less is more. You did a wonderful haunting job with this write.

    I love you as certain dark things are to be loved,
    in secret, between the shadow and the soul.

    I love you as the plant that never blooms
    but carries in itself the light of hidden flowers;
    thanks to your love a certain solid fragrance,
    risen from the earth, lives darkly in my body.

    Oh I like the metaphors you have chosen for this poem. Beautifully expressed.
