My name is Timothy, but my friends call me Tim. I’m 17 years old and live in Colorado Springs. I’m a Junior in high school. I love writing poetry and my main style if 4 lines per stanza, about 5 or 6 stanzas per poem, and it’s normally free verse and non-rhyming. My poems are normally either personal or spiritual or inspirational. I also love designing graphics and have posted some on here. If you are interested in seeing any, look at my list called ‘Pictures.’ I’m also a solid Christian (as you might be able to tell with all the Christian groups I’m in on this site). I love God and that’s never going to change. I’m very active in my church and even play in the youth band on Sunday nights. I play the piano and have been playing for about 5 or so years. After high school I’d like to study Philosophy at CSU (Colorado State University) and get a degree in Philosophy and Religion (that’s one degree). Besides designing graphics, writing poetry, and playing the piano, I like eating, sleeping, and hanging out with friends. Also, for those who don’t know me, I’m a major procrastinator, but am also very lucky when it comes to procrastinating. As far as music goes, I enjoy listening to mostly everything except for rap and country (no offense to those who like that style of music). Most of the music I listen to is Christian and my favorite band is probably Switchfoot.

on Feelings by Spike Milligan, on October 25, 2006I have to agree with what Broken Wings Fly said. This is really great. When I first saw the length and style, I didn't expect to like it. But it was creative without using a lot of complex details. Actually, the simplicity made it great. A wonderful poem!

on The Naming Of Cats by T S Eliot, on August 5, 2006Definately some different rhyming in this one, but good all the same. It added originality to it and I liked that about it
