on Howl by Allen Ginsberg, on August 27, 2005Awww c'mon Erin! It is a rant and he wrote it wonderfully. Don't you remember the 60's and 70's...oops...sorry! Well...he depicted the times perfectly. Back then people were malcontents. Now a days the malcontents can't even spell the word malcontent let alone know what it means. If you think his stuff is shit then I can almost guarantee you'd hate Niki Giovanni's poems, she's from the same era, well she's younger than Ginsberg but she rants like he does.
Not all poetry is about form and meter.
