  • Amazing poem, especially since Service had it all in his head before he actually wrote the poem and the internal rhyme, I absolutely love this poem. The first stanza quite addicting after you memorize it!! "Was that night on the marge of Lake Lebarge, I cremated Sam McGee."

  • Ahh, expressing meanings in more than just words. It seems as though the rhythem gives it a mocking, bouncing-back feeling. That's the best that I can describe it. The rhyme also helps add to the feeling.

Oh, I really liked the description of feeling in this piece.
    "a thin flame runs under
my skin; seeing nothing" The word that really helps that description is "thin."
There was one little thing I caught "you suddenly, I can'" was can' suppose to be like that or was that a typo?

I though this piece was okay but I don't like the beat of the three line stanzas. It just seems there are syllables missing whenever you have three line stanza. Besides that I liked the message this poem had and was worded nicely too.
