on Life Terrifies Me by Endre Ady, on May 24, 2004i agree with arcanne, and i can understand what she is saying. part of you wants to be happy, but part of you knows the second you get their you only far further into despair then you were before. self sabitouge and acting like you dont care solves this for you (kinda), and makes everyone believe what you say, but deep down you just wish you could be normal like everyone else

on Montparnassei think this person is very creative. i mean its easy to write aabout suicide, but that can make it hard for others to understand. if youve never tried to commit suicide, or seriously thought about it, then it is impossable for you to understand the pain and anger. i like it and think it was well put. it kinda makes you think.

on Destroyer of Ships, Men, Cities by James Elroy Flecker, on May 18, 2004i love greek mythology, and i study it all the time, helen and the battle of troy is among my faves. i love the way they fought for their women, this poem is beautiful and gives her the credit she deserves. even after she was captured she still allowed herself to be saduced by paris and crying for her old husband, i dont think you could have chosen a more accurate description of her
