on As I Grew Older by Langston Hughes, on December 12, 2005This is a beautiful poem. I have never read of any of this poet's works, but he has made a good first impression on me. Anyway, I really liked this.

on On A Fart - Let In The House Of Commons by Matthew Prior, on September 29, 2005Lol...I've read seen a poem that involves flatulence before.
I thought this was funny. I liked they rhyming scheme of this poem. However, the author kind of lost me on the last four lines. Maybe it's the archaic/old English, or I'm just dumb, but they don't make any sense.
Other than that, it was a good poem.

on Nothing Gold Can Stay by Robert Frost, on September 10, 2005I, like many people who have commented on this poem, saw it in The Outsiders. This poem is genius! It went especially well in The Outsiders. I liked it very much. It also is kind of sad. It says that all good things have to come to an end.

on A Boy Named Sue by Sheldon Allan Silverstein, on May 25, 2005This is so funny. My language and arts and reading teacher read it to us earlier on in the school year! It was so funny, I wish I could write like this. Really tells an interesting story.
