The fact that you are looking at this shows that you have an interest in poetry and an enquring mind and those are two of the qualifications needed by members of the team of volunteers that run this site.
As you are aware this is a free site but you may not be aware that the people who keep it running are equally free... we are a bunch of unpaid enthusiasts.
If you have some time to spare and a willingness to help out we would love to here from you.
Just leave a message here or send me a message by clicking on my name link.

Re your recent query about adding a poem.
You didn't say which poem or where it could be found!!
Drop me an IM and I'll look into it.

I see you have already joined our Oldpoetry Friends site on Allpoetry - this givse you the 'Tombstone' on your AP author page as an OP researcher. If you have a poet/s that you would like to see included here (and they must NOT have a pulse) leave details for us and, if they suit our criteria i.e. Dead they we may add them to the site. Better still if you have poems or links to same, biographical information all the better.
This is where many of our Volunteer staff began their association with Oldpoetry.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Thank you very much for your interest.

We are always interested in Fresh eyes and hands. Adding poems by poets who are clearly in the public domain because of being deceased prior to 1950 or thereabouts is fine. We do have SOME poems by poets more recent than that but we are restricted by copyright laws and have to be careful.
If you do wish to get involved I would suggest a couple of steps to begin with.
The first is to Join the Friends of Oldpoetry group on Allpoetry. http://allpoetry.com/group/show/Oldpoetry%20and%20Friends
The second is to read these columns
