I'm doing an essay on Scottish War poetry- comparing how the different roles of men and women in WW1 effected their writing. Finding male poets has been easy- but I need to find some Scottish female poets which is proving to be a lot harder and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. thanks

I know of only 4 actual Scottish women who may fit your neeeds.
    Violet Jacobs
    Marion Angus
    Olive Fraser
    Helen Cruickshank

They're all I can come up with at the moment.

I suppose it is all a matter of search patterns
I put "Scottish Poets" into google and came up with this page (and many others)
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Scottish_poets

Adding words like war and female to the criteria will help too.
