    Unfamous History

Unfamous History: My own take on this:

the poem refers to a soldier at war, so much written and recorded about war in the past, War Museums set up, showing those of us who were not at war what life was like for the defence forces and the people back at home.
The Battles, the Generals all of these men whose name has lasted through time is all Famous History.

There is (in my opinion) a lot more Unfamous history than we know. These are the little bits and pieces that are found in 'cardboad boxes', under the stairs and locked away in a cupboard somewhere, a letter, a poem, a medal, some type of keepsake even a cigarette case that stopped a bullet (fact). Unfamous history is the personal history that most of know of.

this letter, the man who was killed and his Son reading the letter so many years later, this is Unfamous History
