    If that happens please leave a message letting us know the details and, if possible, a link to the information that YOU YOURSELF have on the poem or poet so that if at all possible they can be added here.
    We will always try to help provided you can give us some details to work with.
    Beware that we try to restrict ourselves to Public Domain works so as not to subvert the author's copyright protection

    I can only support what Jim is saying here. After about 5 years service on OP I still get a buzz when I find a 'new' poet' or poems for existing authors, as in the case of Henry Kendall and others recently. It has also improved my typing skills as some poems are not available on the net unless I buy paid membership to some sites, which i don't intend to do, but my library is steadily growing and I now own some absolute gems that I've paid as little as AUD$2.50 for - what a bargain.
    It's not just a simple matter of building this marvellous reference site it's also a personal sense of doing something worthwhile and logging off with a good feeling about yourself. try it!
