A great poem by a great old poet...this one I have read before. Yippee I really enjoyed reading this again I haven't read it for such a long time. It's one of the very many awesome Australian poems which us aussies are very proud of.

Same again for me I am afraid...I haven't read this one before either. I liked it very much though. I loved the whole story line about women and what they go through out west etc. I am originally from an outback town myself and I know how hard it can be.

This one hit pretty close to home for me as well...this is like the races and balls and stuff we have where I am from. Also my grandfather was a racehorse trainer so I have seen many jockeys become friends and enemies like this. I have never read this before either...damn I really gotta get out and read some more!!!! Anyways I loved the whole flow and everything of this piece....very exciting.
