"RYE"
The Rhy is still river in Ayrshire (recognise Ayrshire from any of Burns' other poems anyone?) there is still a ford across the river if you'd care to find it. Dalry is a town which is settled around the Rye Water.http://www.langsidefarm.co.uk/burns.html
