on Mike Teavee... by Roald Dahl, on October 2, 2005Loved the allusions to books in this poem. To tell the truth, I have not watched television in two years (grounded for the rest of my life) and I don't really think it's affecting me a lot. In fact, since I like to read more than watch tv, I actually prefer it this way. Besides, with a book, you can put it down whenever you like (unless it's a really good book) whereas you have to wait for an episode on tv to end.
