    This has always been one of my most favorite classic poems. Auden is amazing.

    I remember making my final paper on comparative literature in poetry on Auden and this was one of the poems that I used. I just love how he plays up the subject of love in different angles. He exhausts the concept without exhausting it at all. He can milk a theme for all its worth, and everything still sounds fresh.
