on “Hope” is the thing with feathers— by Emily Dickinson, on October 15, 2008Lovely! Made me think instantly of the dove of peace. Hope is something we can hang on to that doesn't rely on our mortal powers, it is something that lifts us despite ourselves. Wonderful!

on If I can stop by Emily Dickinson, on October 15, 2008Nobel and wise, inspiring and yet so down to earth. Words full of wisdom.

on Sonnet 130: "My mistress' eyes are nothing like the sun..." by William Shakespeare, on October 15, 2008He loves her for what she is and does not compare her to false images (like todays super models!). However, this is not a poem he should freely share with her unless he is sure she has a cast iron self esteem! Great stuff!
