That under hunger's teeth will needs be sound;
4 lines
Each blest drop on each blest limb,
Is wash't itself, in washing Him :

Thou water turn'st to wine, fair friend of life,
Thy foe, to cross the sweet arts of thy reign,
3 lines
Two mites, two drops, yet all her house and land,
Fall from a steady heart, though trembling hand :

Could not once blinding me, cruel, suffice?
When first I look'd on thee, I lost mine eyes.

10 lines
