on Tonight I Can Write The Saddest Lines by Pablo Neruda, on November 3, 2007I feel really inadequate to speak about this work. this poem doesn't need to be campaigned for - any one who reads this and is not moved - well, they are one of many walking dead.

on A Pity, We Were Such A Good Invention by Yehuda Amichai, on October 31, 2007I have always loved this poem. relationships just don't happen. they are created and then have to be sustained. I love the last two lines, especially "We even flew a little."

on Put Out My Eyes by Rainer Maria Rilke, on October 31, 2007the very human need to feel greater than - to go beyond our physical limitations into the limitless.
