    "Sometimes I get up early and even my soul is wet."

    Yes...I know this feeling well. Although I never knew how to put it in words before.

    This is a beautiful poem...

  • on Spring is like a perhaps hand by e e cummings, on February 20, 2007
    This is *perhaps* one of my favorites written by cummings. Loved the middle line "changing everything carefully" and then the ending "without breaking anything". They just seem to connect.

  • That little hope bird is what keeps me going. She was right on with her metaphor though. Hope birds never do ask for anything in return. Beautiful.

  • on Collection of Six Haiku by Matsuo Basho, on February 15, 2007
    "The sea darkens;
    the voices of the wild ducks
    are faintly white. "
