on Where My Books go by William Butler Yeats, on May 18I have always loved Yeats. Sometimes he is romantic, and sometimes he just speaks to the politics of the day. My favorite is "He Wishes For The Cloths Of Heaven" but this is nice too.

on Thunderstorm†his is really a wondeful metaphor and I really enjoyed it. The idea of being rained words is unique.. and being a drooping flower until the rain comes..I just wonder why it has to be a thunder storm which is so.. violent. Maybe it's a man thing..LOL gentle rain seem too feminine?

on A Deep Sworn Vow by William Butler Yeats, on October 16, 2005I think those first two lines are there for a purpose, because of the title itself. It is about a lost love, and she comes to him in memory when he's having thoughts of death or going to sleep. I imagine also when he drank LOL. I think we all have someone that we loved and lost.. the first love.. whatever. This is a great picture of that .. one could almost paint it. I think he was bitter about her.

Is he saying goodbye to romance .. because he's fifty now .. does he feel as I do?
