  • VEry nice. I read the Dark Towrs series many years ago. My son has now read the first three books and is looking for book four. I think I'll start the series over and continue into the new books.

Thanks for reviving this for me.

The pain of living outweighing the pain of dying. Stuck in a bed, knowing what is happening to you and not being able to do anything about has to be the scariest feeling I could imagine. I know so many people whose mainds are fully intact who suffer debilating diseases that eat away their bodies but nver touch thier minds. To suffer like this would be worse than drowning.

This was also a first for me. Another Romeo and Juliet type tale. Rivals who fall in love with the hope that their love can conquer all. If it was only that easy.

Thnak you for bringing this piece to the forefront for all to read and enjoy,

  • Times have changed since days of yore,
Now children and women are soldiers of war.
We've program kids to learn to fight,
wether the case is wrong or right.
We use the women in our deadly game.
And still the outcome is just the same.
The death toll rises on both sides.
While in their towers the generals hide.
The war it rages on and on.
And soon the soldiers will be gone.
The generals put the war on hold.
    Until more soldiers will unfold.
We're tricked to thinking this is piece
While Generals wait until the least
Are old enough to start the fight,
The cycle continues into the night.
