I was from Canada, and am in the Americas category.
Burnett A. Ward, aka, "Flare-Pistol Pete", was a resident of British Columbia, Canada, during the first half of the 20th century. Nothing can be found of him online. But by his poetry, particularly the poem "Street Song", one can glean that he was of Vancouver.
In 1935 he published a book entitled, "Verey Lights, from The Listening Post", which was illustrated by Sy. Moyer (a Canadian caricaturist and artist of the period), and published by the Commonwealth Press in Vancouver, B.C.
