Cecil Francis Humphreys

I lived from 1818-1895. I was from Ireland, and am in the English category.

She was born in 1818, was married to William Alexander who was an Archbishop for all of Ireland in the mid to late 1800's.



She wrote some of the tracts in connection wtih the Oxford movement, but most famous as the author of:

"Jesus Calls Us O'er The Tumult"; a collection of her verse was published in 1896.
