Chin-ok

I was from Korea, and am in the Asian category.

Chin-ok was a kisaeng (similar to a geisha) in Choson (Korea). That is all that is known about her. Only one of her sijo has come down to us.

My poetry

  • They told me it was metal
    They told me it was metal, but I didn't believe a word.
    But now I find it's iron of the strongest, finest kind.
