Eleanor Farjeon

I lived from 1881-1965. I was from Great Britain, and am in the Americas category.

Eleanor was born in London in 1881, educated privately, she wrote childrens stories and fantasy stories, and soon became popular with both children and adults.

The Farjeon Award is awarded for outstanding work in childrens's literature. She lived in Sussex UK and was a personal friend of War Poet Edward Thomas and his wife Helen.

She died in 1965
