My poetry

  • I knew a man, he was my chum,
    but he grew blacker every day,
    24 lines
  • In sodden trenches I have heard men speak,
    Though numb and wretched, wise and witty things;
    14 lines
  • Since I have seen you do those intimate things
    That other men but dream of; lull asleep
    16 lines
  • Now in the midst of Summer stay the mind
    Whilst flowers hold their stony faces- up
    14 lines
  • Lovers may find similitudes
    To that sweet babbling girlish noise
    34 lines
