John Hartley

I lived from 1839-1917. I was from England, and am in the English category.

I influenced poets Allen Clarke, Walter Hampson.

John Hartley is perhaps best known as the writer and editor of the long running Clock Almanack [sic], a collection of poems and prose on the events of each year from 1867 to his death in 1917 when the editorship was taken over by Walter Hampson.
