I lived from 1900-1976. I was from France, and am in the European category.
Born in France in 1900 he was awarded the Grand Prix de Poesie de l’Academie Francaise in 1971. He is the only poet of high regard from France to have written about Australia. He was employed as Agent General for the Massageries Maritimes in Sydney from 1954-1955. This is when he wrote the Poem “Sydney, Miller’s Point”
