I lived from 1862-1942. I was from England, and am in the English category.
I was influenced by poet John Clare.
Despite publishing almost two dozen books over a period of more than forty years Norman R Gale seems to have left behind very little biographical details.
He was British and lived from 1862 until October 7th 1942. He was both poet and story teller as well as a reviewer. According to a dedication in his book "more Cricker Songs" he spent some time as a schoolmaster.
His most famous work was the poem “The Country Faith” which was anthologised in the Oxford Book Of English Verse.
