Rose Hawthorne Lathrop

I lived from 1851-1926. I was from the United States, and am in the Americas category.

The daughter of author Nathaniel Hawthorne and was the wife of the poet George Lathrop; after his death in 1898 she became a nun and worked with the cause of Cancer. She was known as Mother Alphonsa. She wrote two books:
"Memories of Hawthorne" (1897)
"Along the Shore" (1888)
