I lived from 534-599. I was from Wales.
Taliesin was a famous Welsh poet from around 550 AD. He was the son of Saint Henwg of Caerlleon upon Usk, and was resident bard at the courts of King Gwyddno Garanhir of the Welsh Lowland Hundred,of King Uriens of Wales and of King Arthur of Caerlleon.
He has been associated with a number of poems, including several in the 'Welsh Mabinogion' style. Works attributed to him include: In Praise of Cynan and Death song of Owain.
He also became something of a mythic figure and featured as an avatar of the Celtic sun god Lug, as well as a shaman or magician in some early Welsh legends.
