I lived from 1803-1846. I was from Russia, and am in the European category.
I was influenced by poet Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin.
Was born in Simbirsk on 16th March 1803 and was a member of a minor aristocratic family. He was brought up in St Petersburg and attended (but did not graduate from) Derpt University. He is reputed to have been a good friend of Pushkin.
His brother, Petr Mikhailovich Yazykov, was a scientist-geologist and specialist in folklore.
He died in Moscow on 7th January 1847
