I never saw a purple cow,
      I never hope to see one;
  But I can tell you, anyhow,
      I'd rather see than be one!

    For the life of me I can not see why he ever regreted writting this one, well maybe I can, but it does bring a smile. I think every poet should have at least one daft poem to their name.
