The Star

I saw a so high star
I saw a so cold star
I saw a shining star
In my empty life.
It was a so high star
It was a so cold star
It was a lonely star
Shining in the end of the day.
Why that so distant star
Didn't come down
To make me company?
Why did it shine so high?
And I listen to it in the deep shadow
Answering that it behaved this way
In order to give a sadder hope
To the end of my day.

i believe that star is the inner core of a human soul. no matter how dark things seem to be sometimes, it testifies to the fact that there is still hope, still a reason to go on in life. we often wonder how we can be so lonely while the light of life burns within us. how can we have so much love to give yet not feel love from others? i believe it is the light of that star that helps us to continue on.

almost a sense here of being reluctant to hope for deeper reasons, the star deflates hope; and in life and love there are moments perhaps when something we desire eludes us and we can have no bright expectations. Very interesting ideas here...PK

That was indeed sad...maybe a little melodramatic too, but such is sadness I guess...we've all been there, with that profound feeling.
